In most eastern countries there is a tradition of bowing to elders, Teachers, Kings and Divine.
In India too this tradition is followed where bowing is related to the Divintiy within. The bowing is the beginning and ending of the spiritual path, one has to be truly humble to be ready to acknowledge, accept the infinity that cannot be contained within the aspect of time and space.
Bowing down is not a thought about, researched, discussed or logically analyzed way it is a connection beginning from heart, emergin as emotional aspect and a sense of belongingness. To bow down is the beginning and the end of the spiritual path. This is humbleness of recognition of the fact that mind and ego, with all its power, is merely the most ephemeral and fleeting expression of the one’s Consciousness that pervades all of reality. This humility is projected by bowing the head to be ready to receive the benevolence of the single most all pervasive Divine Awareness that is the Core Reality and Sustance Reality of the Core Energy Consciousness.
Bowing is the merging(samāveśa) of the awareness within the Divine Nature through the openness and expanse of the self for receiving the experience of oneness with the Absolute through a Medium or Channel, allowing the body of the body and the knowledge of the knowledge merge into the Wisdom of the Wisdom, for the situation has been done for the Conscious to emerge from the merged state of Awareness. One is truly able to experience this due to the temporary falling away of one’s false identification with the limited body-mind, which obscures the true reality of oneness.
This is reverence and obeisance of the Self (body) with the Self(Mind) to the Self(Emotion) connected to the Self(Spirit) emerging from the Self (projected Consciousness/ Medium/Channel) that Self(Universal Consciousness) opens the Self(Divinity) to emerge from the depth of the consciousness. This is the core truth of Bowing Down, the obeisance to release all that holds one back from falling into the very Heart of your essence-nature.
Try it now. Bow down in reverence allowing the awareness to merge into the real divine nature. Allow the heart to open to the sacred core of your being. If one is able to do it, the treasure that unveils shall be relished and treasured even if one is able to gain a glimpse of it.
