In today’s time most of the seekers look for spiritual awakening in the wrong way for they begin the way with conditions and preconceived notions rising from plethora of information easily available net and books. This I am talking from my personal experience where after reading my books many readers used to send me huge letters and details of their attainment in terms of shivirs, courses, and following of multiple teachers that being changed with ever short tendency to claim that their individual energy is already awakened but they are having huge obstacles which in truth is more related with small issues and problems that shows how superfluous their whole life has been.
This issue is not arising due to the courses, programmes or shivirs they have attended but the problem is they never related and correlated the reality what life offers with that of their own internal quest. People keep doing courses, methods, tools and other programmes in hope that by doing them they would become highly evolved person, overnight and since they have lists of courses they have done in their bags they feel that such a course will be additional thing. But most of the programmes and courses give a glossy image and picture of the ways of gaining truth simultaneously cutting them away from the reality that they would be facing every day. Most of the religious seekers who follow a particular path or way hold more ego concept of attainment and achievement to such levels that they walk, talk and behave as if they are controlling, holding and commanding the Gods they believe in. It many times feels as if the Gods are slaves waiting for a command from such seekers.
Spiritual seekers today confuse many things for they believe that expanding the core beliefs and concepts using modern looking words like universal, spiritual, energy, matter or collective conscious etc are enough to make them continue to become a Spiritual Master.
What little I understood from all this was that people were looking for power, name, fame in the path they followed. The end became a purpose thus losing all of them to the real beauty of spiritual expansion. Spirituality is a greater way compared to religious norms for it is a ever expanding science of Spirit and Actuality, spirit allows one to expand from within while the Actuality creates a firmness and soundness in life.
It is crucial for a seeker to have a deep thirst for knowing oneself to begin with. The beginning can happen from the religious conditions but then it should not be to follow but to be ready to surrender. Surrendering has to happen to oneself to begin in such a manner that one should be able to eliminate the questions related to
Short term needs and wants like promotion, passing exams, Wealth, power, name and fame for in reality it does not satisfy it just keep generating more cravings
Seeking for a long life is not really fruitful for most of the time it is filled with misery.
The more one lives a life of selfishness of I, Me, Myself, finds that family, relatives and known people all vanish for they themselves are involved in the selfish needs and wants.
The more one runs after physical needs and desires the more one shall be craving more and more it will drive one mad and in the later ends will make one see the downfall of it naturally.
The Body, a source of pleasure to some, is a home of illness, mental distress and changing emotions. During childhood one is held helpless by the inability to express clearly and see a direction, in youth one becomes consumed by lust and desire, in old age the desires remain but body becomes unable to fulfill them and slowly one passes away leaving few memories that is easily erased with time.
Spiritual seekers are not poverty stricken, they know they are part of the Universal Energy purely and have the capability and ways of having the best of things that the world can offer. Spiritual seekers never run away from world or indulge too much into it, they are living a life of unattached attachment where the dependency is only on oneself for there is nothing else to depend upon. This empties the desires that have short term life for they live a life of openness and liberation for it gives them a controlled uncontrolled life wherein they are dispassionate for they are aware, observing and contemplating every moment of time. There is no disappointment from circumstances or situations so the turning away is a reality which they have consciously taken.
The core of the seeking emerges from the TRUTH, not the truth you have read, known or been inculcated by the religious norms or scriptures, but the moment one gives space and what one connects and disconnects to the core essential nature of them is the truth. All the stories may have million morale’s to provide but then that is a camouflaged truth to show ways of living in a society, not the truth the core within you is seeking. The truth has to irrefutable, undeniable, universal and timeless, only such a truth will allow the seeker to truly reach the truth so sought.
The seeking of truth has to be sincere. This sincerity is not just a facade for then you would be deceiving only you. Sincerity should be for knowing the truth, nothing less than the pure truth but the process is not serious one. It is way filled with joy, happiness, ecstasy, humour and laughter.
The core of the sincerity should be pure and should be devoid of violence. The depth should be such that the emotion, thoughts and actions should not be for hurting others.
One should have the depth to look for ways of solving a situation and keep working on it till a time one doesn’t find a solution in any manner, then and only then should one let it go and continue to move in life. The more one works through the ways and means one finds that the nature of discrimination vanishes leaving one in a state of oneness with the creation and connected with the essence core of the creators creation in the subtlest levels.
This sort of searching, contemplation and depth allows one to develop TRUST within for the ways even the most cumbersome are tools for connecting to the inner voice and inner vision devoid of the conditions. The more one goes in depth one realizes that there is no controller or leader only guides and light bearers exists, that are connected through the right manner when one truly absorbs the message of the inner self and inner voice. Trust in turn allows one to have deep and infinite patience, thereby making one to be in tune with SELF in a continuous manner. This patience is what makes one Innocent, innocent doesn’t mean ignorance but it means simplicity and a continuous flow of acceptance. This is the core you were born with, except that you were not connected with the inner voice directly but absorbing more from the external world.
It is this depth that allows a seeker to see, know, understand the truth and beautifully accept it without any conditions being levied on it.
