It was a moment of destiny or timeless expanse of moment standing still that though I have been meeting so many Hindu, Buddhist, Jain Ssadhu’s, sant’s, Aghoree’s and Avadhut’s during the initial period of my journey. It never crossed my mind that the so called renunciates were just parasites, exploiters or were truly having some deep experience on the Divine path of knowing the Truth. The reason was so many people who were there and are still there holding hierarchial posts and controlling and managing people through a religious norms and conditioning and forcing the secondary truth learned either through a process of Rote or just caught hold of a segment of resource of truth and made followers out of it.
This is possible reality I saw in most cases of the path taken by people wherein one can find a true one and also a false one emerging from greyish aspects of life to emulate truth in a sense applicable to most of the people. This is crucial for whenever a path of truth is there, it has to have a sense of false and pseudo concepts following it. One cannot exist without the other for all that is known is conditional norms. Today, the world is full of standards as defined by Great Philosophers, Messengers, Prophets in the past and the same can be easily be exploited and worked upon in the most suitable manner giving the maximum benefit to the exploiter and also create a lineage of conditional followers. Even the most Authentic Conditional follower can masquerade as the Authentic source of information. But, history has seen the flaws emerging sooner than later thereby making the false disappear by more and more varied forms of Authentic Conditional Methodology. This is a endless cycle of Conditional Truth being followed by Conditional Falsified Notion of Truth. The moment one looks and seeks for truth based on conditional norms one finds that the whole concept takes a form of organised norm.
The true seekers of knowledge grows, realises beyond the need of conditional norms wherein the way becomes a private affair. A private affair at many levels for it is subtle and deep, it is not expansive at large but is more deep within. It is a journey of moving deep from the realm of worship to become the Worship itself. At the realm of Worship it can be exploited and fakeness can emerge but when one becomes Worship then it is Universal, Cosmic and Divine. Then no need for worship but the reverence at external realm transforms into devotion of highest realm.
Swami Kriyananda was one such Swami, who to be called Swami would be too small. For His journey truly began the traditional manner wherein He too followed the conditional norms and in that norm His condition was restricted and restrained even with all the external wealth gained through the Organisation the inner core remained a seeker. He broke free from the conditional norms to seek to know the personal truth that was universal and cosmic in nature. He was not belittling anything yet His expanse from within had reached the subtle state wherein He was ready for the truth. It was a moment the person has experienced; it has been an existential experience. To me, this is a Truth. It never bothered Him to let go of all the expanse He had made in the world of conditional norm to get into a true state where He became authentic. He expanded beyond dress, food and behavior, for it was moment in a moment of spontaneously. The day I met Him He was there like He should be. An experience to meet a true person with no imitation or fakeness but a true person in all His normalcy, the child who had no mask, no two faces, nothing to hide and nothing to hold but everything to have Truth essence giving it an aspect of Faith in all its blossoming expression. An experience that I have felt when it is real which can never be imitated.
True I could sense His words His ways and His depth had an expanse which normal people will never relate, understand or connect to unless they are open and clear. Nine years back on this day He allowed Himself to merge back into the source by allowing the physical body to rest it needed in Kathmandu, Nepal. A child still dances in the cosmin sparks that emerge ever so frequently allowing the oneness to be experienced again and again.
